Wedding Photography
We imagine you're very excited about finding the perfect venue, caterer, DJ, photographer, and all the little details that will make your day a very special occasion. All of these can be quite stressful, but we would like to assure that finding the perfect photographer is more than finding someone who you can fit your day into their packages. We at Snap the Day Photography have been shooting weddings for over half a decade and have evolved our coverage of your day to fit your needs, not the other way around.
In the past we offered set packages that contained a certain amount of hours, printed proofs, books, and the like, but we soon found out that every bride has different needs in her coverage of the one of the most important days in her life. We found that while brides would chose a package that they felt fit their needs, at the end of the day, they realized that their coverage needed something that wasn't initially agreed upon, to this end, we have now changed our quote model for wedding photography to take into account all the bride's and groom's visions for what they would like from their photography company.
Our usual agreement with wedding parties is an engagement shoot, full day wedding coverage with two photographers, meaning if you would like coverage to start when you two wake up in the morning until you put your head down at night, we will be there, and DVD of all images, edited and raw. We will make 'print/book-ready' about 10% - 15% of all images taken during the day. While we know what is important in regards to ring exchange, first kiss, first dance, and traditional shots, we aren't familiar enough with all the other intimate moments that will make the coverage of your day last a lifetime in an album. So we will ask you to go through the proofs and find pictures that mean something to you that you would like worked up, if we haven't already edited them for print. We can do books, and prints if the bride requests them and we have also done DVD slideshows with music. We will custom tailor a package just for you.

Portrait Photography
Each portrait session is all about you the individual. We like to work with your creativity to bring out you or your family’s personality and style. Portrait sessions are all done on-location with the possibility of multiple locations. We have professional backdrops and studio lighting and can setup in almost any location if natural lighting isn't feasible.
Typical sessions for a family are $150, larger groups priced accordingly.
Head shots pricing begins at $75 per person. Corporate or group rates are available.
Custom print packages and albums are always available and are designed to fit your individual needs.
News / Event Photography
From covering the Plano Balloon Festival, to traveling to Guatemala with Faith in Practice, to your corporate holiday party, Snap the Day Photography can capture your event or news event with professionalism. Our photo journalistic style will provide you a detailed chronological catalog of photographs of your event.
